probably not, different displacement (engine size), usually means that they use a differnt turbo. Unless of course they are very close close in displacement, then they usually put a different pitch on the turbine vanes to match it to the engine for better effiency.

I beg to differ, in most cases horsepower comes second to low gears. A LWB 2.5 with 5.29 gears is better in very steep climbs than a 2.8 LWB with 4.88 gears, it also gives you the option of using taller tires.
