Ya, do exactly what stock87 said. Take the top of the carb off and blow all the jets out with carb cleaner. Use the little straw attachment and you can get right in there.

I actually had to do this a few hours ago on my weber - jet clogged up and truck would barely run. You'd be surprised how many sediments you will find in the bottom of the float bowl - soak them all up with a paper towel. This basically does a 15min rebuild of the carb. If you wanna make a project out of it, go ahead and do an actual rebuild.

Just a side note, whenever you go to start the truck (cold, or not so cold.. even hot outa habit) make sure you punch the gas pedal to the floor. This engages the choke and gives it a nice rich mixture for startup. If you are not doing that, then you will be cranking for a while every time, even if no jets are clogged.
