Body Damage is Cool
Well, found a deal on CRAIGSLIST for 4 tires and rims until I can afford my Kuhmo's.
$120 !!! Should be good for this fall's hunting season.

With the 1.4" body lift (made the pucks out of UHMWPE), they haven't hit anything yet. (Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's 30 x 9.50 15")

NOTE: These pucks are not as nice as the ones that are sold online. They are more like plain hockey pucks.

Also, put some SS mesh to hide the body stuff behind the bumper.

A few things left are to change, like the wimpy horn. Anybody got a suggestion for a horn I could get at picknpull?

Also, got to fix the door, get a new radiator and heater core (not leaking YET), install the front & rear LSD's setting in my garage, adjust the spare tire carrier to fit the free spare tire I was given, and new rear springs (passenger side is sagging) .

One thing that I really adjusted when the body lift was done, was to raise the trailer hitch reciever. I actually raised it so much that the bumper needed to be relieved when using the pig carrier receiver/hitch.

Note the turned down exhaust , this was to keep from blowing stuff on any game that is being carried, or to keep the cooler bottom from melting.

Anyway, she's getting closer to completion.

Will document the LSD's when that happens,(probably mid August)and even though I have a manual tranny, when I do my radiator, I'll order one for an automatic so if I turbo, I can warm/cool the oil to it, but initially cool/warm the power steering fluid. I figure that if I'm out doing some more serious 4x4n', that fluid must get pretty warm going slow and constantly working it back and forth.

Anyway, give me any thoughts/ideas on what's been done and my future plans.

Cheers,

Like the brush guard.

The SS-NaZI type mesh looks almost as bad as the chichenwire that I have on my Grill!

Nice tail ligh guards

Body studs won't be long enough unless you have a way to make them longer. If so the center hole would have to be drilled out to fit the diameter of your adapta-stud and I would need that diameter.

Get an old seventies Caddie horn. They're beefy, loud and I'm sure plenty of them at the yards. I'm been sitting on the fence about doing this, but every night I hear the stock horn Chirp when I lock my doors at 5 in the morning after work. I'd like my nieghbours to continuing liking me.
