hi guys,
I've got a leak behind my crank pulley after doing a top end rebuild. I put sealer on the bolt onder the timing marks upon reassembly and used a new o-ring and crank seal.

So,I pulled the crank pulley off and put a repair sleeve on the harmonic balancer, fel pro #16214, I also used a new o-ring and crank seal. It's leaking worse than before!

The sleeve did'nt cover all the scaring when it bottomed out, I just drove it on with a wooden block and mallet. I used the red loctite that came with the sleeve, do I need to let it dry for a while before I put it back together? Is the way it's supposed to go? Is there a sleeve that's longer somewhere?

I searched the arcives for any info about the tool for installing the repair sleeve, no dice.
I was thinking the tool was just a gimmick to lighten my wallet, here's a link web page

I thought this would be a simple fix.....any help?

P.S., I did a dual row timing chain conversion with the rebuild...
