91 fuel injected 4 banger, 5 speed. Falls flat on it's face when I get past 1500 rpm in any gear under a load, justs acts like it's dieing, pops, let off the throttle and she's idling great but no power. Neutral revving up to 4500 rpm and it falls flat. Opened the shrader valve on the fuel rail and have a good amount of fuel at idle until it stumbles, then it falls way off. I can hear the fuel pump humming. Turn the key on and it primes up. And can also hear it while running. Any ideas?

hey pal have you checked your ignition system,is your beast electronic fuel injected and electronic ignition check alternator,or have you checked fuel pressure under load to see if the pressure drops.

tried a fuel filter, was better... but won't turn over 3000rpm in 3rd or over 2400 in 4th. I have a spring over w/ 33's so I need the rpm's. Which shouldn't be an issue anyway. If you try to accelerate hard past thos rpm's it just falls flat and will backfire from time to time.

How about a plugged cat/muffler? Does the exhaust make a whistling sound?

How about a plugged cat/muffler? Does the exhaust make a whistling sound? no whistling sound, new flowmaster muffler. The fuel flow out of the shrader valve is very minimal when I push it up to high rpm's. I'll try to get a guage tommorrow to put on it to see what kind of pressur I have.

Just curious as to what gears you are running with those 33's?

Just curious as to what gears you are running with those 33's? 4.10 have had this jeep for a few years, problem just started a few days ago.
