I feel your pain, I replaced mine a few months ago and it was not fun at all. Lots of cursing and blood to get it done. I did not remove the pipe to do it either. I pretty much laid down on top of the engine to get it done. While your doing it you should replace the fuel heater hose also. I just had to do mine and I had to undo one of the other clamps to get it done. GOOD LUCK

One step ahead of you on that. I already have some new 5/16 fuel line for it, which is what was on there.
I'm replacing all cooling hoses.
