I pulled distrib and cleaned all wires and connectors.I had it on top dead center. Set the distrib back in correct order towards no1 cyl.It acted like out of time.Pulled cap made sure all was correct.Still acted out of time.Pulled distrib.Moved 180 deg to see if that was problem.Made timing worst switced back.Still acted out of time.I started moving timing one tooth at a time.Finaly fired and ran for awhole day thought this is crazy? Must have jumped time.Next morning fired up no problem ran its normal 15min and stalled the way it has been all summer. This time it showed a code crank angle sensor.Dam thats a new distrib. So i thought well it jumped time.Stopped on way home bought new timing belt.Pulled it a part.Belt looks new all timing marks are in alignment.Sometimes it acts out of time when you try to start it other times it starts and runs fine for a few min sometimes all day.Sometimes when it dies it fires back up.Other times acts out of time. If you kep switching key on and off sometimes it will fire sometimes acts out of time. Will only run with rotor facing towards front of engine compartment.About 3 teeth off.Could this be a bad reman distrib. The distrib is only a year old.Its had this problem for along time.
