Definitely less, but it's capable without being fast <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />. The figures I have from OuterLimits4x4 have my 4D56T cranking out 97 whopping horsepower! Plus about 175 ft-lbs of torque.
I am now officially a Pajero owner. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. 1992 Exceed w/winter pkg, roof tray, bounceys, the works

I think thats the non-intercooled model with 97HP...im pretty sure our intercooled engine has 105HP and 181ft.lb of torque. but definetly not fast. but with my 5.29 diffs its pretty damn torquey

Nigel's right, and just look at where the V6 gets its power - up around 5000rpm+. Our torque peak is around 2k.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Hmm. where did you guys find those figures? I'd like to keep the most accurate websites bookmarked, and I thought the tech/FAQ at Outerlimits was spot-on?

Sure, if you can wait until 2017 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. In 2002, a 3.2 DID engine was introduced, putting out 162 bhp and 276 ft-lbs of torque!
Mind you, this is from OuterLimits4x4, and both PHIL and torquemonster are saying their data is not correct.. Fellows?

Any newer diesel will have great HP and torque. If you have the cash there are some nice new jeeps with Mercedes engines in them.
