Is there a diesel at all that has power like the V6? Deiselguy has posted in this forum. (Look in the "pics of you pajero" thread)He has a Gen 1 4D56 with custom turbo, exhaust and a front mounted intercooler that he says really puts down good power.

Is there a diesel at all that has power like the V6? I have an 82 Mercedes 300SD (Turbo Diesel) that goes like a raped cat. It's Mercedes in-line 5 cylinder diesel motor, gets me 30+ MPG at almost any speed and will keep up with any regular V6 but with more comfort and style than most :-) And it's 25 years old. Now if I could just get my Pajero to break the 100kmh barrier I'd be laughing! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Now if I could just get my Pajero to break the 100kmh barrier I'd be laughing! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> thats easy....crank the boost up. I run about 15-16lbs and it wakes it right up...but when your at full boost on the highway all the time it really eats the fuel, so I turn it down when I hit the open road.
