Word of warning if you really wheel your rig becareful if you mount stuff in the storage places. They will leak. I ruined to amps I had mounted in there.

This is similar to the set up my dad had in his old 89 x-cab. it worked good, along with two small speakers in the doors. in my truck, i have two 6.5 in kenwoods mounted in the doors under the window crank, then two speaker boxes with a 10" and a tweeter each behind the seats. that works well for me, even without an amp.
