Of course you don't want have music playing when you're seat it down because it will ruin the coil on the sub

I didn't cut any my pieces up. the compartment can be unscrewed and removed. To hold up my amp i used instant foam to hold the board in place. But i did drill some holes for the panel for the sub. i also instant foam the area underneath the seat in between the seat, that made a huge different in sound.
