I want to get rid of the clutch fan on my pajero and have 2 electric fans on the inside of the rad...my fan clutch REALLY hurts power.

Nothing will cool your engine better than a properly working clutch fan, and shroud.

isn't it odd that after you install these improvements, it still gets hot?? I have replaced everything on my 2.6 and it gets hot. there has to be some explanation.

tom have you ever had your rad cleaned?

mounting was easy.the bolts that held the fan to the clutch were perfect for just bolting the pully to the water pump.i got the wiring kit at my local parts store for 20 bucks.it came with everything i needed even the temp sensor that you push thru the rad.even has a override switch so i can turn it on when ever i want.

the mounting kit was easy also.it had long plastic things that push thru the stock fan mounting holes then thru the rad fins.then it had locks that slid on the ends that stuck out the rad so it wont come off.the hard thing is you need a pretty slim electric fan becouse there is not a whole lot of room.

I beg to differ...dual fans with built in shrouds cool much better than my single fan. sure worked on my old ford ranger.

I also have the fan on the front of the rad for the A/C which turns on when it gets warm anyways.

Nigel,

Next time your in town after we're back from BC, we'll have a peek (providing you get your CV boots done and that thing is driveable). I'm sure we can figure out a system like i have, just on the motor side of the rad instead.
