Got a pretty good squeak going on in the front end. It's the passenger side and when I pull up/push down on that side of the bumper it sounds like an old trucks' leaf springs. Greased the upper control arm, ball joints, tie rod and that didn't help. The lower control arm does not have grease fittings but I shot a little lube at the pivot points and that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim Tulsa '89 two door v6 auto

I thought about the front shock- it's a pretty good squeak though and I wondered if a shock could squeak that loud. Didn't think about the torsion bar- I figured it just twists and doesn't pivot Thanks, Jim

A shock could squeak pretty darn loud. I haven't heard a torsion bar make a bunch of noise before, but I guess anything's possible. I know it can get frustrating trying to run down front-end noises, keep posting and we'll help any way we can

On my white Raider, it has been the lower a-arm pivots, and since there's no way to grease them, I just spray them with WD-40 (liberally) and it goes away for a week or so. It's pretty loud until then, though.

WD 40 why didnt I think of that..I was thinking of using one of those giant hypodermic turkey injector needles and try greasing them with that. I'll let you know if it works
