Yeah, and this is quite sensible too. But I did that once in Carnage Canyon and hated the dent on the right rear for far longer than I remembered the fun that day.

Your approach almost *has* to be cheaper. If for no other reason than you are doing it yourself. I *think* I could do the swap myself this time, but the 22RE-to-5VZ is MUCH harder than the 3VZ-to-5VZ. More than twice as hard. Time was the key for me. Coulda figgered it out, but would have taken me much longer than Mike even, and the enjoyment factor would have fallen off quickly.
