It's getting close... still have to paint and mount the modified flares in the rear (Bushwacker thinks we keep the plastic bumperettes ). Still have to mount the softtop, grille, bits, etc.:

I highly recommend Terry and CIM Autobody in Northglenn. Even though I live on the south side of metro Denver and it's a pain to get there, worth every gallon.

Raked, you say? Notice the shackle angle. Ain't nuttin' IN the truck, not to mention no bumper/spare. She'll drag her butt in no time .

Wheeler
Wow... that looks awesome. I really like those rims too. Itś so refreshing seeing a really nice rig like that that also gets wheeled as well. Not just some w@nker trying to look good for his school aged buddies.

Well done

We ventured into the joys of ABS welding. Cut off the bottom where the bumperettes used to be, and used ABS cement from the Home Depot plumbing aisle along with some of the sheet ABS we removed to rebuild the bottom rear of the flares. They should be painted by now, and on today!

The pickup flares differ from the 4Runner body lines a bit. Thought about them, and Justin had a set he was returning, but... no joy there.

Yeah, too nice to wheel. But that won't stop me. It may make me uber careful in the tight stuff though!

Looks like the break-in run will be a hunting trip to Wyoming. Obviously I need to do SOMEthing to shake it down and find any issues before then.

Well, ready for the clear bra treatment. Thanks, Moomba, for the inspiration on using Bushwackers, but painting them to match. They turned out rather well, despite needing modification, I think:
