Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi all,
I have been searching around and I need to ask about the 90K maintenance that I have to have done soon. I am debating the dealer $700 or a Meineke $400. Couple of questions.

Are the OEM plugs for my 3.0L Platinum tipped (60K intervals)? How would I know without pulling the plugs?

Will valvoline synthetic fluid work for the tranny? (I only ask cause the shop said it works for "all" vehicles -1 Subaru)...just curious.

Anything you gurus might want to add? Thanks!

One more thing, what is all of this SR talk? What is an SR??

Body Damage is Cool
Plugs are iridium. 100k interval under normal condition. So 90k would be about right buy OEM or NGK which makes OEM.
if you are talking about Valoline Full Synthetic ATF+4
then

# Meets Mopar Standard MS-9602
# Meets Mopar Type 7176«
# Meets Mopar ATF +2« Type 7176
# Meets Mopar ATF +3
# Meets Mopar ATF +4

Doesn't say anything meeting SP-III standard so it's only a guess and not in its favor whether it would work.

My manual says nothing about 100K intervals...just 30K(standard) or 60K (Plat)?
BTW I am using the severe schedule...should have indicated that earlier!
