Is it me or is it really hard to change the spark plugs for 2003 V6?

Some of my other cars, the spark plugs are right on top of the engine.

I know what tools to use but the length of the socket wrench has to be the right size. Anyone has pictures of the tools and length that you use?

Also, I was able to locate 3 on the driver side. Are the other 3 under some type of square sensors? I know they are under the air intake.

Any tips on the spark plug on the driver side that is close to the window? That one seem really hard to get to.

I am using Bosch and they recommend .44.

Thank You

I've done MANY tune ups on the 5VZFE..

Don't be afraid to move stuff out of your way to get to the spark plugs..it'll all bolt right back into place <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I use a 6 inch extension, on a 3/8' drive wratchet, and have never ran into any problems..

Like I said before, don't be scared to move things out of the way to get to where you need to work on!
