Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have a carberated '85 toyota truck regular cab and i just got my new drive shaft for the front but the bolt pattern on the flange of the T-Case doesn't match the drive shaft bolt pattern. both ends of drive shaft match the third member's flange. is there a real difference in bolt pattern on the T-case flange and third member flange. is this common and is drilling it out to match my best bet to fix it.Thank you for your help.
