Howdy sweety. It is obvious you have never driven a vehicle without motor mounts! The stiffer the mounts are the more the vibration dampening is reduced. With solid steel mounts your ride would feel like sitting on your GF's vibrator! The stock ones when in good shape are fine. I see no reason to pay extra for aftermarket ones.
