The fuelies I am aware of all have TWO senders in the coolant jacket. ONE of them sends the propper temp to the gauge.
The OTHER one is a switch and sends only sends a go-nogo to the computer to tell the computer the operating temperature has been reached so the computer can change the timing and mixture from start to run... BOTH will screw into the same holes! However the ones I have seen have different lectric plugs on them to caution against mistakes in which is used.
I have seen guys making the wrong one plug into the system by FORCING the wrong plug! Needless to say the wrong sender will NOT work.
