well my GEN II has only single piston front calipers....don't most GEN II US-Monteros have dual piston??? because I know the dual piston front brakes take the same pads as the 1995-1999 Talon/Eclipse turbo with dual piston brakes.

I guess the JDM GenII got the leftover GenI front brakes? Good info to know.

Maybe only the earlier GenII Pajeros with the 2.5 engine got the single piston calipers, as I'm pretty sure all with the 2.8 engine have dual piston calipers.

well I am going to find out if everything is the same between the 2 and that's going to be my next upgrade...dual piston brakes. Let me know too as mine are single piston and I just ordered a set of fronts. I'll find out whether they are single/dual that I ordered. semi-loaded (no pads) my cost $110 per side for single-piston GenII I believe. Does that sound right ?
... good.. bad.. I'm the guy with the gun.

My former '96 Pajero also had single pistons in front.
So, they were identical with the GEN I's?
