WOAH!!

NO, the holes that are to be tig welded are ONLY where the shaft that the butter fly valves are connected to passes through each wall, so the idea is that those holes that you made solid red will be completly open and the holes where the bushings are for the metal rod to pass through the aluminum walls will be closed up, including the front hole, where you have air leaking out of now.

Sorry for the dumb question <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />, I know it's obvious I should not seal those holes but I thought I ask. (hey at least I got your attention) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />
Thanks for the inputs guys, I really appreciate all you help! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
Do you guys know whether it will make any difference if I seal all the little holes (where the metal rod goes thru) or just the hole where the "air leak" is.
I know for sure I'll be removing all the butterflies and the rod/shaft seen on the pic. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
Hopefully after taking care of this the check engine light will go away, I would lthink is cause by the vacuum leak, right?
