Hi, I have searched for this info but not finding it. I was wondering how to lower the seat belt anchor on a '92 reg cab, beheading is a fear, I'm 5'2" and the belt clip is not great to use. There is a lower hole but not sure if this is an easy fix or a headache.

I assume you mean the shoulder belt anchor point? I have an '86, and I use the lower shoulder belt anchor point. It was as easy as removing the bolt from the upper hole, repositioning the mount to line up with the lower hole, and then reinserting the bolt there. If you want to plug the unused hole, you can get a plug at AutoZone or similar (look for the Help! product line).
Or maybe I'm missing something?

Thanks for the quick reply. No you are not missing the mark, I see where there are threads in the lower hole, but (not to sound like a non mechanic)how do I go about removing the anchor, it is smooth and I don't see how to get a wrench to work, do I need to dis assemble the plastic belt end?

On my '86, I think the bolt's head is exposed, making this trivial. If the bolt head is covered on your '92, it's probably just a matter of releasing the cover. Some g-e-n-t-l-e prying/probing with a thin screwdriver blade should reveal how the cover is held in place.

THANKS, that was a pretty easy fix once I got over the fear of prying off the cap.No more fear of "off with her head".
