A V6 R&P will work but the Factory E-Locker gears have a larger 30 spline pinion compared to the smaller 27 spline on the V6 R&P so a 27 spline flange will be needed.

E-Lockers also require a larger carrier bearing on the side of the third that has the locking mechanism hence the supplier telling you a install kit that comes with bearings will be different than than a non E-Locker kit.
