I've received my new lower control arms from AllPro! They look strong and, yes, they are the perfect length for the new diagonal fit. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> We installed the first one this afternoon. As you can see the break line is tight and the sway bar endlink rubs on the bar.
It looks to me like a 4" Pro comp rear lift to match the 4" IFS front lift. You might want to check the upper control arms as the kit has extensions at the diff end to keep all the control arms parallel. If they are not all the same then your diff will rotate when it flexes offroad. A std set of sway bar end links will fix the sway bar issue if you want to keep it. HTH

We discovered it and welded it on the trail, then it broke the weld less than a day later. Check this out. Leaf springs are calling my name.

Interestingly enough while we were down there I discovered that at some point I broke my rear sway bar in half. (This happen often? I thought the bushings looked fine!?) It must have been on the Rubicon, and since I never even noticed I'm considering removing it so it won't be in the way.
i remember when mine snapped. i heard a loud BANG. a few weeks later, i was wheeling and someone pointed out something dangling from the rear end. i looked and it was the sway bar. btw, ever think of going a custom 3 link back there?

...there are definitely much better solutions out there now. Speaking of sway bar disconnects... what are the better solutions? I've been looking and have only found "Nuclear" which I believe are discontinued and then a build-your-own design from Lars. I wish JKS made some for Toyotas! ~Dave

Speaking of sway bar disconnects... what are the better solutions? I've been looking and have only found "Nuclear" which I believe are discontinued and then a build-your-own design from Lars. Either Nukes or Lars are much better than the old Rockstomper disconnects. I have 5 year old Nukes with heims that are very worn, so I'm considering building a pair of Lars' design. They are fairly similar, although Lars' disconnects are adjustable length and the heims look a little larger.
