To determine your gear ratio... Jack up one rear wheel.
Put tranny in neutral.
Mark the wheel with chalk or something and mark the driveshaft also.
Now turn the wheel ONE TIME EXACTLY. While the wheel is turning the driveshaft will turn also... You must count the turns and partial turns of the driveshaft.
One turn of the wheel will make the driveshaft turn...4.1 times == 4:11 gear 3.5 times === 3.54 gear. A little over 3 times ===3.07 gear 3-3/4 times === 3.73 gear.
It may take two people to do this and you may want to do it a few times to make sure.. It is accurate!!
