The manual tranny isn't the connecting part, its the 4spd auto. This is what holds promise as the go between different engine options, different t-case options, and most importantly, t-case gearing options.

As far as the Kia t-case, it might be nice and all, but to take the Sport to the next level (for rockcrawling), it's gotta go or someone has to offer a 4.+:1 here in the states, and for under $600.
