I have been reading lately about hard wiring a switch into the cab of my tj to run a winch without a remote. (http://www.4x4wire.com/tech/winch/remote/) but the only directions or schematics that I can find are for the three lead remote systems, and my warn m8000 has 5. I tried setitng it up the way shown for the three way, but no luck...remote still works, but the switch does nothing. I tried contacting warn but predictably they would not offer advice for altering their product. Does anyone know what the two extra wires do and how to run them so my switch will work?
