When I did it to mine, I used the wires that came on the remote and marked where the wires were connected to the switch. The wires coming off the plug inside the winch are the same color, so I just connected the wires to them. Blue to blue, green to green, etc. I want to say the white one was the power wire, so I put a switch in line with it so I won't activate the winch by accidentally bumping it. I made a thread about it that talked about what wires did what.
