Body Damage is Cool
HEY DOUG, GUESS YOU GUYS GOT THE ALT FIXED , I DID A LOT OF FRT AXLE HOUSING MEASUREMENTS FOR STEVE CARLSON BIG SEWED AND I COULD NOT FIND ANY DIF IN THE OVERALL WIDTH OF ANY OF THE FRT AXLE HOUSINGS BY MEASURING UP TO THE DIFF PLATES , FROM AN 89 TROOPER THE EXACT SAME MEAS, AS A 94 TROOPER AND THE SAME AS A 2001 RODEO, THE ONLY DIFF IS THE RODEO HAD THE AXLE DISCONNECT BUT INSIDE FLANGE TO INSIDE FLANGE MEASURE AS BEST AS I COULD TELL WAS THE SAME , WITHOUT REMOVING THEM , I GOT VIRTUALLY THE SAME MEASUREMENTS ON ALL, AND YES THIS WOULD MAKE IT EQUAL LENGTH AXLES WHICH IS WHAT STEVE WANTED SO HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO CARRY BUT ONE AXLE SHAFT , NOW THE FRAME WIDTHS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFF, BUT THEY OFFSET THE ATTACHING POINTS ON ALL THREE WHERE THE BUSHING ARE , SO I THINK IT BOILS DOWN TO USING THE DIFF PLATES THAT GO WITH THE BODY, AS THEY WILL FIT ALL THE HOUSINGS JERRY
