Charlie and I are PMing on this now - you're right.... it is VERY hard to find information on the Diamante engines.

I did find the link below - it shows the '92 Diamante to have one version (202HP/199lb-ft) and another version (no power spec data) - different acceleration times and surprisingly the LS with no specs is quicker.

The '93 Diamante wagon is slower (weight or gearing?), but doesn't give HP/TQ data.

Perhaps a trip to the local dealer is the best way to find out... if I can beg a few minutes with their archived shop manuals.
