Turbo engines fail quite regularly ( due to non mechanical people owning them ). Call around to salvage yards to ask for their cores. Also, any of the "Tuner" crowd should aim you in the right direction.
I am now out of the salvage industry, but when you go to the salvage yard to pick up your engine, ask them to do a "Locate" on their puters.
Here's an inside infobit. BLACKHORSE 0123456789 That's how they are pricing with another yard when on the phone. B=0 L=1 & so-on. If you talk to them in that parlance, they may treat you better. Frank, you are paying $350, right? It is termed CHB to them. Y'all can always claim an uncle owned a yard out of state & you used to help out when you were a kid... Of course to back it up, Google a yard in the area that you grew up & claim that was the one you used to "Pull cores" (AC compressors, alternators & hte sort... Then mention how difficult Fords were.... They will identify with your pain (tm Bill Clinton) Maybe that a Jaguar took all the tools you had to drop the engine out the bottom.
Also, as per Jags.... Alot of them had water to fluid heat exchangers. Many of them can be used to further cool oil, trans fluid, diff fluid, intercool turbos with a remote resivoir $ a radiator placed where you want.
As to intercooling, use A/C system with Caravan "Dual circut" compressor ( blots in, most likely a change of clutch & pulley should line up) with a seperate orifice/valve to cool liquid to intercool & then also have AC in vehicle....
Oh well... Enough blabing....
