This picture shows the knock sensor and mounting plate in the middle of the engine block valley..... you can also see the 10:1 pistons - they look like there's been a little valve train interference collision at some point:

I read something on the 3si forum about oil squirters falling out of the DOHC 24v blocks - and read the other thread about incompatibility between 24v/12v blocks - so, there'll likely be no oil squirters on this engine.
