![[Linked Image]](http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/1142/dscn3429bd1.jpg) That doesn't look right. It should be at the 0* TDC mark on that cover, right? and when you hook up a timing gun.. That's when you will find it the 15 degrees BTDC right? Someone tell me I'm wrong but that's not how my motors look when I put them back together! That mark should be on 0, not on the 15.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

That's what I was referring to when I said he should zero the crank, but if you look at the notch on the crank timing gear, it's right on...
I'm confused...

I'm confused... I did not know there was a notch on the timing gear. I have always used the pully notch and put it on zero.

I'm confused... I did not know there was a notch on the timing gear. I have always used the pully notch and put it on zero. When you put the belt on, how do you see the mark on the crank pulley and the timing cover. It's disassembled. I think the gear notch and pulley mark should line up though, correct?

I put the new belt on and put the pulley on. Then I put the timing belt cover plastic thing on and line up the mark on the pulley. Then take the cover off and line up my cams and put the belt on.
Now thinking about it, isnt there a dimple or something like on the cam sprocket?
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Yes, there is. If you look up a few posts, you can see all of those marks. StockRaider took pictures of every reference notch. You have to align all three (each cam mark and the crank gear notch) to achieve proper timing when you put the belt on.

Frank I believe it has fuel. I am starting to wonder if it has an ample supply to support after starting. My friend was messing with the fuel filter while I was doing the timing belt. So I will definitly check it all out.

I just lined up the crank timing gear notch and then the cam sprockets, then put the belt on. However, I don't have dizzy timing to worry about...
