Sounds like "death wobble" Do a google search and I am sure you will come up with lots of info.

I ran into this problem on the last lift i did also. ended up being the caster setting on the front axle. If you did not replace your lower control arms then thats the problem. The lift throws off the front caster setting by pulling the axle torwards the rear of the truck. get some adjustable lower control arms and take it to get an alignment.

does it do this constantly while your driving down the road or just when you hit a bump or pothole?

I have yet to install my lift...it's in the mail...I am waiting for this to happen.

HOWEVER, from all the advice I have received on issues that may occur after the lift...you might need a new Track bar and/or new steering stabilizer. Just in case, as Fishtaker says.....Google it and see if you come up with others that have had this problem <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

yeah i went through and put more bolts in and tightened everything up it still does it but it bareley noticable but it only did it when i hit a bump or something. i still needs an allignment and a new shock stabilizer so i hope after those two it will go away completely

your tire scrub is wrong. Look at wheel backspacing in relation to your lift. This is what causes the "death wobble"

death wobble does it constantly, you said it only happens after you hit a bump, its probably your steering stabalizers, i had this problem whe i first bought my jeep, i puchased the skyjacker replacment one and the aftermarket one that goes on the track bar and the tierod, from just replacing the stock one i noticed a big difference, but after adding the aftermarket one and having a dual stabilizer setup it drives like a dream come true, but unless if your running 35's or bigger you shouldnt need the addition stabalizer

Moss baby,
get the alignment first. I still think that your problem is the caster setting of the front axle caused by the lift (get adjustable lower control arms). The alignment will stop your guessing and tell you if everything is within specs and if it's not, then there you go, if it is then you'll know it's your steering stabilizer. I hate to se ya throwing parts at it. As my chiropractor says about X-rays, "TO SEE IS TO KNOW, AND I REFUSE TO GUESS"
