A friend of mine had the same happen...going down the road and it died.....just like as if someone turned off the ignition key. Turn over but no fire. Neither he or I could believe it was the FP because we both know that the Totota FP last just about forever....well, it turns out the previous owner put in a cheapy after-market POS FP and it really did go bad. All fixed after a new one....a genuine one <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
first, you need to determine if it's a gas or spark issue....figure out a way to inject some fuel into the plenum without removing the air intake hose. AI Hose must stay connected for FP to stay energized.
