The deer will be fine with you... until you step out of the cab, then WHOOSH! gone. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

I like my Flowmaster just fine, seemed to be more than adequate with the 22RE in terms of flow (too much flow is NOT good for that motor, you will lose power esp. in the low and mid range), and handles the 3.4 just fine as well. VERY stout muffler, a concern for wheeling. Not too raspy, nice tone, not loud.

Red Chili,

Are you running the 50 Series Flowmaster?

I'm looking at their 50 Series SUV as one option, or, the 70 Series Big block version, just a longer 50 Series with an extra resonance chamber. Fitting a 22" muffler will be another issue if I go that route, or with a large Magnaflow.

Thanks,

Mike

We like to see/hear the wildlife, so went with a standard alumnanized steel turbo from the local muffler shop. Not only did he quarantee it, he put a new one on after I blew it out while "submarining" out in the dunes this spring. My neighbors like it to since i leave at 6am.
