I found that CRC makes an actual maf cleaner so I grabbed that.

I also had a question about how much torque should be used on the grommet or cylinder cover bolts? My trusty manual only used the term "snug" which leaves, at least for me, a lot of room for interpretation. I have them past what I would consider snug to the point that there is a black ring from the gaskets squeezing out underneath the metal covers out of fear of leaving them too loose and having to do it over again.

It also looks like i bought the truck just in time since my pos 97 blazer dropped almost all the coolant in my driveway last night. Turns out the radiator is coming apart right at the oil cooler and I also noticed the serpentine belt needs to be replaced and the waterpump should be failing pretty soon as well.

Anyone want to make a few bucks to steal it and drive it off a cliff?
