I had trouble with my 92' Rodeo's trans going into limp mode. Turns out part of the TCM grounded at the oil sending unit. Also someone prior to my buying it had left off the ground wire at the back of the intake manifold. When I bought it I was told it needed a torque converter. Fixing the grounds cured my problems. The problem has been resolved. I basically removed some transmission fluid and then I added a lucas transmission fix. The cure did not happen overnight but after 50 to 100 miles I noticed that the transmission problem happens not as frequent as before then the problem is totally gone. I never thought that this product is that effective until now. I read it in one of the 4x4 forums and I thought its a ridiculuos suggestion but it actually works.
