Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread Page 1 of 2 1 2 can any give some advise for an 22re? #829855 08/09/07 07:50 PM Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 3 M metal2dirt OP Need a Spot i just did an motor swap in my 86 4runner. so i got the long block of ebay its one of the remanufactured block and new head ect. i got it all back together and running. it idle and reves like it should. but when i drive it has an real bad bog. it feels like ther something holding it back. does anyone have any trouble shooting tips for me. it whould be much appreciated. It takes awhile for it to really build up to power (break-in time etc). With 200+ Billion electrical parts, the world most complicated machine is inside your own skull. It's a bit of a 2-part deal. The ENGINE needs to be rotated to TDC on the compression stroke BEFORE you stab the distributor. Rotor should be pointing at #1 once set.
