PLEASE conduct a search BEFORE asking about tires. There are so many tire threads on here, that I'm SURE you'll find what your after. The pros and cons of 31 vs 33 has been discussed SO many times. Please use the search function.

Shocks: there are many things you need to decide before asking about shocks. What's your price range. What's abuse? Is abuse potholes or boulders? What is going to be the PRIMARY use of your rig. These are things that need to be decided because the answers regarding available shocks are many.

Lift: I, myself, have said many times that I'm running (and wheeling) 33s on my 1990 4 door with no lift. Again, the search function is your friend.

Finally, I think I speak for everyone when I say that the number of questions you ask is not the issue. NOONE here minds helping ANYONE out as we have all been newbies, but at least attempt a search before you ask these questions. Your opening statement was "I'm sure this has been covered before", and you are absolutely correct, this has ALL been covered many times over.
