Couldn't hurt to try the old hammer treatment on the starter. Have someone bang on it while you try to start it. Sometimes that will break it free of whatever is binding it.

Also, check all your connections to the starter, as well as the battery and the starter itself.

BTW, hydro lock and vapor lock are two very different problems...but I seriously doubt that either is the problem here, so I'll leave it at that.
