Well, I decided to put it back together with the OPR vlv blocked off. I just don't want to spend anymore money on this particular motor. So far there is no difference in the vlv noise. No doubt because of the wear in the valvetrain. I still believe that blocking off the OPR vlv would be a good idea. Obviously the valvetrain needs more oil to prevent premature wear. Just my opinion.
