I'm in Australia right now, and man- there are Monteros(Pajeros) absolutely everywhere. They're like F150s in the US, common as dirt. Gen1 LWBs are common. They're all over the place, and about half of them have snorkels. I was only here for a week, otherwise I would have definately stopped by a junkyard! Too bad. I will be back in Aus again in the years to come- next time I'll see what rare parts I can find and ship back to the US (e.g. snorkels).
--------------- 95 Montero SR - 207k miles, rebuilt @ 146k Stock. Longview, Texas Ithaca, NY for the summer of 08.

Isn't that amazing?! I was just there a month ago. The Paj and the Land Cruiser (in countless forms) are multitudinous (how's that for a triple word score)!

"You're right, I don't understand the Jeep thing"
or,
"It's a not-jeep thing, you wouldn't understand..."
BTW, just making light, not bashing. I personally think the new 5-door with removable top and doors is very cool looking...
