Getting the Wheeling Fever
OK I do not know much about Isuzus
but I can go on and on about yotas
heres the deal I have the offer for a 94 trooper in great condition but it needs a tranny I have access to a tranny out of a 92 Rodeo or a 93 or 94 passport all automatics.
so my question is will one of or both of the auto trannys work in the trooper.

thanks in advance

They should work...all are 4L30E trannys AFAIK. And computer controls should be the same from those years.

Body Damage is Cool
The Trooper should be 4wd. Is it Auto or Manual? Are the Rodeo/Passports 4wd or 2wd? If the Trooper is Manual and the donor tranny is out of a 2wd, your swap won't work.

Isuzu manuals (MUA5) use an integrated tranny/t-case.

He said "all automatics" so I thought the Trooper was too, but maybe not, so good question.
