1. make sure there are no leaks from the AFM to the Throttle Body. the plastic tube is prone to cracking after 20+ years...

2. any codes? they can be pulled by following the procedure here
its the smaller of the 2 in the picture... and only has 2 wires. incidentally, this is the same connector that must be jumpered when checking the timing.
