Hey Bob, did you run a vacuum on the system, or have a shop pull a vacuum on your trucks a/c system before filling it
with freon? If not, plan on having someone pull the freon out with a storage/recovery machine, then they'll pull and hold a vacuum on the system for 1/2 hour most likely. This will remove moisture from your A/C system. If you skip this step, corrosion and rust will occur inside the system over time. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" /> Anyway, congrats on the conversion, I keep threatening to swap my '92 over, but my R-12 stock system cools so well after replacing the leaking evaporator that I haven't done it yet.
