oh yeah and on the sending unit, check the ground wire on top of the tank, it may be corroded. There are two main suppliers of Jeep Repro parts, Omix-ADA and Crown, both sold by the folks Bob suggested. I know the Omix sending unit requires some fiddling with the float rod to get it right.
