I have posted previously about having had bad gas mileage ,about 15mpg on avg, so after replacing or cleaning everything from the maf, both 02 sensors, plugs, ect sensor, etc... I now get this trouble code. It came almost immediately after changing my o2 sensors which is odd since both of them were shot and not producing the correct voltage. Since the code came 2 days ago I have replaced the ect sensor and rechecked the o2 sensors and see nothing wrong. I have erased and reset the code using the efi after making any changes but it still won't go away.

Yeah it looks like using universal sensors was a mistake. Looking to order the oem ones since local will cost me $450 for both and that is just the parts <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Check some of the online dealers. They are selling for $100+shipping at 1sttoyotaparts.com. Look under "electrical" then "power train control" in their online catalog. Gettle Toyota may beat that. Also Underdog Racing
can supply OEM.

Are the NTK 24554 oem or are only the densos 89465-39735 or 234-4162. These are model numbers for my vehicle and my dealership carries only the densos but some sites I've looked at say both are oem or oe and the ntk's are about $10 less for the pair. The difference in price isn't much but 10 bucks is still 10 bucks if they are both oem like they are for spark plugs.

NTK is a major OEM sensor supplier but I believe the T100 probably came with Densos from the factory. Probably safe either way but I would go Denso myself.

Yeah densos were on it although the part numbers are different. I also just spliced in the original before cat sensor and the cel hasn't come back on so that makes me feel good. I may do something a little out of the ordinary and replace just the front 02 sensor since money is pretty tight and the universal sensor on the back is new and not throwing the code and just replace it in a few weeks when money won't be as tight.

Thanks again for the help. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

From now on OEM is the only thing going on the truck although since replacing everything, that shouldn't be for a long time. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
