As most of us are aware, deer whistles commonly available are too big to fit on a vehicle unless on a bumper, where they are prone to being knocked off. And most of the cars today do not have front ends that will properly mount these things due to small grills, sloped bumpers etc. And they look like crap. There is a company that makes a unit that is 3/4"x3/4"x1". They fit in nearly any grill space and sit back out of the way. Have one on my wife's Elantra and on my T as well. They do work. Here in deer central, upstate NY, road kill is pretty high. Heck, my wife has collected 5 in the last 9 years. Was so bad we named the Corolla she had "Ithica". $11,400 in body damage from 3 of them! Last one totaled the 2003 Corolla. I have had at least a dozen near misses as has my wife. None since the installation of whistles. I can see them stop, turn their heads to look at my car or truck.
